Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Without an account you confirm your email address with a 6-digit code, then the transfer is sent. With a free account you see all transfers in your dashboard and don’t need a code.
How long are files stored?
As long as you choose when sending – at most 3 days on Free, 7 on Plus, 30 on Pro and 90 on Business. After that we delete the files automatically and permanently.
Who can see my files?
Only people who have the link – and with a password, only those who also know the password. Files are stored on servers in Germany and can’t be found publicly.
What counts towards the volume?
The size of all transfers you sent in the last 30 days, plus files you received via request links. How often they’re downloaded doesn’t matter.
What happens if my connection drops?
Uploads run in small chunks. If the connection drops, it continues where it left off. Downloads can be resumed too.
Are there ads?
On Free and Plus the download page shows a note about sorahub. There are never ad networks, cookies or tracking. From Pro the download page has no note at all and carries your look.
